The World Bank (WB) is looking for a consultant to Support the Brazilian Ministry of Education (MEC) and the National Fund for the Development of Education (FNDE) to develop a module of the existing financial management system to allow it to process payments of Consultants hired through a WB Project. The main roles and responsibilities are: (i) create a software module to evolve the existing SPAE system (Sistema Spae de Ensino) to allow the inclusion of the Work Program WB Consultants; (ii) adjust the integration with system SIGEF (Sistema Integrado de Gestão Financeira), to receive payments and financial commitments related to the Work Program WB Consultants as well as with the module responsible for authorization and documents generation for SIAFI CPR system (Sistema Integrado de Administração Financeira); (iii) provide support to implement the new module in Q/A and production environments; and (iv) provide code corrections for 30 days after implementation in production environment. The consultant will work approximately 10 days to carry out the tasks. Selection Criteria and Skills Require BSc in Technology; 5 years of relevant professional experience in Delphi software development; solid knowledge and understanding of Oracle SQL Database Server and Database Modeling; experience in using version control systems and repositories, as well as ticketing systems; Timeline and outputs The consultant will work up to 15 days to carry out the tasks described above from the day the contract is signed up to October 31st, 2018.
