Recuperar tamanho (largura x altura) de uma imagem

Gostaria de saber como faço para saber a largura e a altura de uma imagem que está no servidor é que vai ser exibida dinamicamente, já que o seu endereço está cadastrado no Banco de Dados...Gostaria de saber o tamanho dela para q eu possa bloquear o tamanho máximo de largura ou altura.....URGENTÍSSIMO..... :o
