Placa de rede Nvidia

Oláa todos,Bom o problema é o seguinte: Tenho uma placa mãe ASUS A7N266 VM, instalei em minha máquina o Mandrake 9.1 e estou tendo problemas para ele reconhecer a placa de rede omboard que é uma nvidia.Quando você tenta configurar a rede ele até mostra uam lista do hardware que você queira usar, e nessa lista tem o Modem e a placa de Rede, mas selecionando a placa de rede retorna uma mensagem que não tem módulos para a placa. Alguém já conseguiu configurar a rede usando esta placa?Desde já agradeço a ajuda de todos!

Será que essa placa não aceita os módulos ne2000, ne2k e outros padrões? O chipset dessa placa não é realtek?

 

De qualquer modo, poste o resultado dos comandos abaixo, um por um:

Obrigado phr34k3r vou tentar sua dica e depois posto aqui o resultado.Quanto ao chipset não sei se é realtec, a placa de rede é omboard, junto a placa mãe, na lista de hardware da máquina no linux aparece como Nvidia Network Adapter, no manual da placa mãe tbm não da nenhuma referência de qual o chipset da rede...Pelo chipset da placa-mãe ser Nvidia creio eu que a rede tbm seja. Vou testar os comandos que você passou depois falo se deu certo ou nãoValeu obrigado ;)/>

Todos esses comandos são para nos voltar algums informações, só pedi a você para me passar a saída deles para ter certeza de que o chipset não é realtek. De qualquer forma, tô aguardando um email de um amigo que acredito ter a mesma placa mão que a sua, dai fica fácil ;)/>

Realmente trata-se de uma placa da nvidia, até então nem sabia que existiam, ainda em tempo recebi um email dizendo que o driver para essa placa se encontra no próprio site da nvidia.

 

Acabei de dar uma passadinha no site e te passo esse link para baixar o pacote:

Minha visão daquele site mudou muito depois disso.Mas é isso ai valeu pela ajuda, brigadão ;)/> :D/>

Infelismente é a pura verdade, deve ter um motivo para tanta "burrice", talvez ele sonhou com o Tux fu****o ele e gostou, mas não quer admitir. Procurei nem me envolver muito, pois, sou o contrário dele. Adoro software livre, apoio projetos GNU e livres, faço parte da administração de um site que é totalmente o contrário do que ele pensa e etc.Mas, como ele possui um certo público, não deveria inventar mentiras e sim trazer a verdade, mesmo que doa, como já foi provado no tópico por vários amigos, ele fede a mentira de longe. Outro dia nos mandaram um link de uma pesquisa que estava rolando no slackwarenaveia.org, dizia que o windows no desktop tinha ganho a batalha contra o linux, pode procurar no LinuxRápido a notícia foi publicada. Então, sei lá, voce ser honesto é o que conta.Não tive chance de dizer, mas parabéns pela notícia, outras pessoas poderiam cair no "conto de vigário" desse rapaz.[]'s
