OEM toshiba installation disk

I am in need to install a seconde WIN XP PRo in the E: partition of the HDD that already has one of it installed in the partition C: but the OEM toshiba installation disk from a WIN XP PRo get me only the option to Restore the original default system installed in all default settings ( the default partition is the C:). Please, help me. What to do to install more one OS in patition E: with THIS SAME INSTALLATION DISK disk whithout overwrite the OS that is already installed in the C: partition?

Tomgomes Hello, what you should do is look for another CD of Windows XP and install it. Did you speak Portuguese?

Sua solução prevê um outro disk mas quero justamente usar o OEM que tem todos os drives adequados. ë um notebook. E como é o mesmo MAC (mesma máquina), acredito que o bill fará os WIN updates sem problemas.

 

tenho o dive D: onde está o instalador setup.exE

tenho o drive C: onde esta o OS já instalado

tenho o drive E: onde quero rereplicar o OS com o mesmo cd que fez a instalaçào do OS no C:

 

Pensei em ir no prompt do DOS e copiar o setup.exe para o E: e executar. Mas não estou papa no DOS e não acerto escrever a linha D:\cd copy, e assim mesmo, como o cd de instalaçào fala em refazer as configurações default, não sei se dará crto ou se meu OS em C: será sobrescrito pela nova instalação.

Que acha?

resolví há muito o problema. Era fundamenteal pois o OEM é registrado e o office 2007 também. Como a partiçao C: program files abarrotu, só mais outro sistema para solucionar.

E fiz com dois discos. Como o OEM apaga todoHD e intala o C:, coloquei um HD reserva no PC e instalei o OEM. Em seguida troquei os discos novamente, particionei -o em mais uma primária e fiz o clone para esta nova partição. Configurei o boot.ini e pronto.
