Como controlar um SWF através de Javascript?

Olá, caros amigos, estou em uma dúvida danada, estou precisando criar uns controles para um SWF Player que roda audio em AACPlus, a dúvida em questão é a seguinte, é possivel fazer uma chamativa igual o player html5, no qual posso especificar qual é o link ou botão que para, inicia, aumenta e diminui o volume?
Se Sim como posso proceder?


Estou tendo que fazer desta forma pelo fator do mozilla não rodar aacplus nativamente com seu player integrado(O que é uma grande pena até o momento).


Bom o código que estou utilizando é uma base JwPlayer, ouvi falar que ele tem uma API javascript, tentei utilizar de toda forma e sem sucesso.

Bom o que preciso fazer é que ele possa ser controlável através de botões input.
