|- Nunca utilizei o GameBooster,mas vc pode criar um Ponto de Restauração e testar o software,que otimiza o PC para jogos.

Não é do Menu iniciar, é quando vc vai Salvar um arquivo ou Abrir um arquivo através de um programa, que ele abre aquela janelinha pra vc escolher o local e tals.... é isso, não é do menu iniciar não.

|- Verifique se existe a pasta "Send To",indo ao caminho dado àcima ou digitando no Executar: shell:sendto
|- Estando nessa pasta,estabeleça os atalhos que queira utilizar no "Enviar para" ou arraste os atalhos que estão no desktop e queira na pasta "Send To".

|- Estando nas "Opções de Recuperação do Sistema",escolha: Prompt de comando

|- Digite: SFC /SCANNOW
|- Cuidado ao digitar,pois existe um espaçamento "sfc_ /" que deve ser respeitado.
|- Insira o CD de instalação do Windows 7 ao ser solicitado.
|- Aguarde a conclusão!

O comando sfc /scannow,varre todos os arquivos protegidos do sistema e substitui as versões incorretas pelas versões corretas da Microsoft.

|- Maiores informações,clique no link "sfc /scannow".

|- Se não funcionar tente esta correção ao registro do Windows.

|- Se não funcionar,tente esta configuração,dado abaixo.

|- Clique em "Programas padrão".
|- Clique em "Associar um tipo de arquivo ou protocolo com um programa..." para abrir o menu de "Definir associações".
|- Percorra a lista de extensões para localizar a extensão de arquivo ".lnk".
|- A listagem mostrará a descrição e o atual programa de padrão associado com ele.
|- Clique na extensão (para selecioná-lo) e depois clique em "Alterar programa".
|- Selecione o programa que você gostaria de abrir tipos de arquivo linkada.
|- Clique em OK.
|- Reinicie o computador! >> Informe!

Não entendi esta etapa:

 

 

|- Selecione o programa que você gostaria de abrir tipos de arquivo linkada.

 

No caso, o problema não é do navegador, isso ocorre com todos os programas que usam o Explorer pra abrir ou salvar arquivos, por exemplo, notpad, navegadores, programas adobe, tudo! Isso ta mais pra problema no sistema do que no navegador.
